Leadership Changes one in and one out!

SnowWalkers of Club Penguin is making several changes to its leadership team, with catfish stepping away from Leader duties and iguessnot officially joining SWCP as a new Leader.

The changes follow discussions within leadership about activity and the future direction of SnowWalkers. While catfish will no longer serve as a Leader, he will remain an important part of the army as a Winter General, one of SWCP's High Command positions.

At the same time, iguessnot will bring previous leadership experience into SnowWalkers after discussions with SWCP Leader the_alternate.

catfish will officially be moving from Leader to Winter General.

The decision comes primarily because of inactivity. While catfish has a valid reason for being inactive, the amount of time he is currently able to dedicate to SWCP makes it difficult for him to remain reliable enough for an active leadership position.

This is not a disciplinary demotion and should not be treated as one.

Leadership requires consistent availability because Leaders are expected to help make decisions, organize the army, assist with events and battles, and remain involved with the day-to-day operation of SWCP.

Because catfish cannot currently provide that level of activity, leadership believes moving him into High Command is the most appropriate decision for now.

He will remain in SnowWalkers as a Winter General, allowing him to continue contributing to the army whenever he is available without carrying the same responsibilities expected from a Leader.

SWCP thanks catfish for everything he has contributed while serving in leadership.

iguessnot becomes a SnowWalkers Leader

With one change to the leadership team comes another.

iguessnot is officially joining SnowWalkers as a new Leader.

iguessnot already has previous experience leading armies within the Club Penguin Army community. He previously served as a Leader of ATCP and also led the former Xbox Republic before that army eventually shut down.

More recently, iguessnot spent some time moving between the Fire Vikings and SnowWalkers before ultimately discussing his future with the_alternate.

Following those discussions, the decision was made for iguessnot to join SWCP leadership.

There is also something leadership wants to make completely clear:

SWCP did not steal iguessnot from the Fire Vikings.

iguessnot approached the_alternate himself regarding the situation. His move into SnowWalkers leadership came after direct discussions between the two of them and was not the result of SWCP attempting to recruit him away from FV.

What iguessnot brings to SWCP

The appointment gives SnowWalkers another Leader with previous experience managing armies.

Having already served in leadership positions before joining SWCP, iguessnot comes into the role with an understanding of army management, events, decisions, and the responsibilities that come with leading a community.

He will now work alongside the rest of SWCP leadership as the army continues developing.

As with any new leadership appointment, the coming weeks will give members a better idea of what areas iguessnot will focus on and what ideas he intends to bring to SnowWalkers.

What this means for SnowWalkers

These changes are intended to keep SWCP's leadership team active while still respecting members who may temporarily be unable to dedicate enough time to leading.

catfish remains part of the army and retains an important HCOM position as Winter General, while iguessnot joins the leadership team and begins a new chapter within SnowWalkers.

Further leadership changes will only be announced if they are confirmed.
